The Rolie Polie Olie Wiki Discord is a Discord server for editors on this Wiki. It is a place to chat about various things, from discussion about the wiki, to chatting about beloved Polie movies, TV, and more. You can ask and help with technical problems, post quotes, pictures and trivia, and talk to other editors!
Joining
- Read the Wiki Rules and the Discord Guidelines below.
- Register your account on Discord. It is recommended to download the Discord client for the device you are on.
- Use the invite link, https://discord.gg/UmxdAU3e, to join the server, and then follow the instructions given.
Discord Guidelines
Our goal is to keep chat a safe, and welcoming place for all of our users. In order to do so, please keep in mind of the guidelines below which need to be followed in chat at all times.
- Be respectful. Don't engage in heated arguments, call people names, or be intentionally mean spirited. Do not excessively ping other users, especially staff. If you have problems with another community member, please talk to a moderator or staff member.
- Do not post content exceeding a PG-13 Rating. Please keep language within reasonable limits and do not share explicit or sexual images. This server has users of all ages and backgrounds, and we'd like all members to feel comfortable in public chat channels. Please keep politics off the server.
- Be careful with giving out personal information - A lot of times in chat, users get a conversation going with an online friend of their's, and while this may be entertaining, we advice that you be careful with sharing personal information, because who they say they may be, might not be true.
- Do not spam in chat - You may have a fast computer that can handle spam, but for other's, it may lag, or even crash their computers. Plus, it also disrupts chat, and can easily clutter it up.
- Use common sense. Not every situation may be covered by these rules. If you're not sure if something is okay, ask a moderator or staff member in
#server-feedback.
- Don't spoil any information about any movies, episodes, or books - You might have just seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, or you saw the finale of Lab Rats, and it might be tempting to share your opinions on it, and you can do that, but please do not spoil anything about the movie, episode, or book such as maybe a plot twist, or a major event that occurred, as it can easily upset other users.
- Listen to chat moderators/administrators at all times - If a chat moderator/administrator has requested you to do something, please comply with their instructions, or it may result to be warned, kicked, or even temp-blocked from chat.
- Please keep your username recognizable. We want people to understand who is speaking and be transparent in our discussions. Use “change nickname” by right-clicking your username in the right sidebar if your global Discord name is not recognizable to folks as your wiki identity.
